The second day in New Orleans started off with us being extremely pissed at the fact that we had to change rooms at this hostel we were staying at because they made a mistake. Well we supposed to switch at like 10am when we went to the front desk they said the other room would be ready at 3pm. UGH…
So, we left for breakfast at Cafe du Monde. Jeanette likes to walk and I usually tell everyone Jeanette likes to walk me like a dog. So true…Anyways breakfast was awesome and then we took to shopping because we figured most souvenirs would be found for friends there.

So we go back to the hostel and find at 3pm that the other room is still not ready! PISSED…we go to look at cemeteries which are all above ground due to flooding. Meh I say on this one, not as interesting as I thought…
The most awesome part then however was taking a ghost tour! At first we were gonna go with the popular one but the guide for the other tour just seemed nice. EPIC WIN! Hubert the tour guide was a great story teller and if you ever go to New Orleans find this guide! Truthfully though these tours are done in good spirit because really 9 times out of 10 you aren’t gonna see a thing.

Finally new room! Oh fail…it sucks completely. It’s worse than the one I had originally booked WTF!? UGH…no running water in the place because it was all leaking out of our closet! peeling ceiling and bugs lame sauce...
