Five Days to Get Home

The next day we left San Francisco for Salt Lake City, Utah…Yeah driving like 13 hours. This becomes the race home because I had to work in like five days. OOPS! The whole drive home pretty much sucked terribly. We had a hostel booked for Salt Lake at 11pm so we left really early. We made it to Reno, NV early in the afternoon and I ate some cake woot! Then Jeanette’s car started to fuck up and we stopped to tell the hostel we would be late and they bitched saying we couldn’t come in after 9pm! HAHA awesome so we fought with them, that the let us book it that late and they said they didn’t. At this point we were running out of money and I was like yeah I just wasted $48 dollars.

We keep driving and at night in Utah we passed an Air Force base and saw what looked like UFO’s. But we had seen this before, test flights. I can still see however we people would think it’s UFO’s. Salt City construction was horrible and we stayed in a shitty motel.
As soon as I woke up in the morning I knew something was wrong. I couldn’t move my head at all. So, we went and did laundry and ate at a place that made my sick. So, we gave up and went and saw Iron Man 2 at the dollar movies there to wait for the traffic to be better so we could leave.

walk da plank!

whoa

Salt Lake was also the only time we had someone following us. So, yeah we left around 6pm for Wyoming and since we lost out on that hostel we planned on sleeping in the car…Bad idea. Around 3am we had to stop at a rest area to sleep because we were both sick and my neck was killing me. We slept like three hours, lame.
We finally make to Lincoln, Nebraska where the hotel was really nice. Jeanette had to go out on her own (she is directionally challenged) and find me painkillers. I was in bad shape. I freaked on the phone to about everyone I knew because I was in so much pain. Jeanette came back with drugs and cookies. I love her she’s an awesome friend, no lie.

The next morning we found a TCBY which we have never had, Ohio doesn’t have them but my Aunt always talks about then. I was feeling really good that morning though but later Jeanette had to drive again. And I passed out hardcore on muscle relaxers and completely missed being in Iowa. Jeanette said it was lame. Missouri was the land of strange signs and the arch in St. Louis was not that neat really.

sounds like a challenge

Concert: The Birthday Massacre

I absolutely love this band and for like 10 years I have missed every dang show in and near Ohio. I problems making it to shows. And this night it was just me and my friend Court and I was determined to make it. THHHEEEN I hit a car going there! (first accident btw) Yep...Still made it though

Aural Vampire was the opening band and I love them. They are from Japan and don't tour far from there often. Great show. After that was Dommin who I also like but we had to go deal with "the car situation" so I only got to hear three songs BOO! After them was the Black Veil Brides whose music I already didn't care for. But there behavior and stage and towards to other bands was disgusting. I can't imagine why they would be so rude to a crowd but whatever. Personally my least favorite band ever.

Finally, it was time for TBM and they put on an amazing set! Def. need to make it to another show in the future.

San Francisco, Last Stop Before Home!

Right after whale watching we drove up the coast for our final destination, San Francisco. We were staying with one of Jeanette’s mom’s friends, Rohini. The traffic into the city was ridiculous but Rohini was like the nicest person I have ever met. The first night we just hung out and talked which was great I was exhausted. I swear Jeanette never runs out of energy.

exporatorium we didn't get to go to

The next day I wanted to go to the Exploratorium and Jeanette thought was dumb and now that we are back everyone is like “WHAT! You didn’t go to the Exploratorium, lame!” So yep I was right…
Anyways we went to the Golden Gate Bridge which was neat but expensive to cross. Then we went to the Wharf and that was neat there was tons of stuff there. Then we went back to eat with Rohini who is an awesome cook. And then we all went walking to China Town and had a great time. Then Jeanette’s friends Nelson and Xinxin took us to dinner which was so nice of them. Nelson had a mini cooper which I love them and he drove us down the crooked street and we went to Ghirardelli Square.

I loved San Francisco, it was a great trip and a good last planned destination.
